How usage is counted
What is an email unit?
One message in, or one recipient out. A send to three people uses three.
Test mail is free and never charged. A retry with the same idempotency key never costs twice.
What test inboxes do
Up to 3 active test inboxes per workspace, on non-routable addresses. Nothing reaches the internet.
They keep the last 100 messages, up to 10 MB, and message content expires after 7 days.
When you run out
Sending stops. No surprise invoice, no silent overage.
Mail already received stays yours to read and to export as JSON.

Can I buy Builder or Team today?
No. Stripe checkout is disabled, so neither plan is available to buy yet. The prices shown are proposed launch prices, and the final terms will appear before any charge.
Does every workspace get a free live inbox?
No. The allowance is one complimentary live inbox and 100 email units a month per verified owner identity, claimed by that identity's first eligible workspace. Creating another workspace does not renew it.
Can I use my own domain on the free tier?
No. Custom domains need a paid plan, and paid plans cannot be purchased yet. Free live mail runs on an address at agents.emailforagents.ai.
Does an accepted message count even if it bounces?
Yes. A unit is consumed when a provider accepts a recipient. Provider acceptance is not proof of delivery to a person, and later delivery failures arrive as separate events.
